ELMS-X - Updated Left Navigation

The left side navigation in ELMS-X is a slide menu.  Users familiar with MS Outlook will be familiar with this type of interface.   We can use the the slide menu to navigate to many items in a limited amount of space.

The ELMS-X interface is also constructed to use your full screen space.   This will allow users with larger screen real estate to view more information.

Stay tuned for more updates about ELMS-X

So -- What does this mean for users?

  • New customers will be able to sign-up and start using ELMS immediately without having to wait for setup and initialization prior to using the software.  This will also eliminate initial start up costs associated with the setup fee
  • ELMS X also contains an enhanced user interface that will assist users in learning and using the system.
  • Users will have the ability to provide all customization online without having to call and schedule services from our main office.
  • A full and complete user's guide that is online and containing working examples.
  • A complete list of online training demos that users can reference at anytime
  • Online account management where you can control your number of users and licenses
This is a general overview of what is being made available in January 2012.   Details of the upgrade will follow in future posts.   Existing users can preview ELMS X early and migrate over at a time convenient to them.  The existing ELMS Advantage Online will be supported until all users have migrated to ELMS X.

What's happening at ELMS?

ELMS Advantage Online went live in January 2010 thanks to many of our beta users and early adapters.   We continued to enhance and stabilize our offering throughout 2010.  ELMS continued to grow in both companies, users, and functionality during 2011.  Word was starting to spread about ELMS and we continue to grow without any formal advertising or marketing.  We concentrated on our software and creating new functionality.

We quickly found that our focus on our product and lack of focus on internal process was starting to have an impact on sales, and customer support.   We entered a standstill where demand continued to increase, but we physically where unable to to take on more customers.

Our dedication and goals have not changed.   ELMS will continue to be a single integrated solution for all aspects of the remodeling and contracting industry.   ELMS will continue to be affordable for individuals as well as large Design/Build companies,.

ELMS Software is currently restructuring our internal processes, service offerings, and application to better support the masses.  ELMS will continue support existing customers while Version 10.0 is being developed and made reading for the first part of 2012.   I have learned many things over the past two years and look forward to the future.

Please follow this blog as I will continue to update you about new regarding ELMS Advantage Online.

Sincerely;

Scott Gerold - President
ELMS Software, LLC.
